That's it, it's time to go home. I'm on the train heading to Grenoble to see my family, my hometown where I grew up. It's been exactly 3 years since I moved to London, right after earning my 3D Bachelor's degree, to do my professional internship at a renowned UK studio. The bell rings: Hello Paris, my beautiful, lush, captivating Paris, so many words to describe it, with its rich cultural heritage and trendy fashion boutiques. I have always loved this environment, which I also find in London. Great creators inspire me, like Philip Knight, Virgil Abloh. "You can do it too," he had said at the Louis Vuitton men's fashion show in 2018... Why not me? Why not combine my desire with my job? Above all, I have always been creative and enjoyed designing pieces and objects with clean, minimalist designs. I want to bring my 3D design expertise and a touch of madness to a clothing brand. I take out my pencil and a piece of paper with a strong desire to start a new venture. As I approach Grenoble, a t-shirt with curves takes shape. Creating a line of life, starting straight and ending in a wave like a heart that starts to beat. I need to develop my idea... A month later, while on a trip to Rome with my friend, it clicks: What if we called the brand WAVI? A mix of "WAVE" in English and "VIE" in French. This name speaks to me and inspires me. Let's go!
